Given the resources that hyperscale data centers demand, and given the environmental harms that they produce, is it likely that the promised economic and workforce benefits for data center development in Oklahoma will be a net benefit to rural residents in the state? Who wins and loses in the datacenter-driven economy? Data Centers in Oklahoma: Promises and Pitfalls will bring together local advocates, journalists, and tech industry professionals, going beyond the headlines to have a balanced discussion about the potential impact – good and bad – of datacenters in Oklahoma.
