Magic City Myths: Tulsa, the Klan, and the Massacre

Join us for our next Justice Jam - an interactive afternoon of historical myths, urban legends, and tall tales from three Tulsa historians and "Mythbusters" Russell Cobb, Carlos Moreno, and Aaron Schoenfeldt for an afternoon where we explore Tulsa’s 1920s history, the Race Massacre, and its aftermath. History is messy and complicated, but that’s what makes it interesting!  Bring your questions, your confusions, and an open mind to challenge what we all think we know about Tulsa history during the 1920s. Explore themes related to justice over a catered lunch with vegan and gluten-free options available. Sliding scale lunch includes your choice of $5/$10/$15 per person with preregistration, or $15 per person at the door without prior registration.

Lunch is served in Emerson Hall at 12:30 PM with the presentation beginning promptly at 1:00 PM.
